Scott Chandler is Manager of the Industrial Hygiene Services Department for Testing Engineers & Consultants, Inc. (TEC). Mr. Chandler serves as project manager for indoor air quality, mold, lead and asbestos management projects. With 40 years of experience, he has been involved in literally hundreds of indoor air quality evaluations. Mr. Chandler has been quoted as an indoor air quality expert in various trade and news publications such as the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) magazine, Michigan Real Estate Journal, and Crain’s Detroit Business publication. A few of his more recent speaking engagements include presentations on mold and indoor air quality to the Michigan School Business Officials (MSBO) at their annual Facilities Conference, the Southeast Michigan Society for Healthcare Engineers (SMSHE) at their annual conference, Butzel Long law firm, Gunn Levine Architects, TMP Architects, Associated General Contractors (AGC), and Comerica Bank. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, LEED Accredited Professional, and Licensed Asbestos Building Inspector/Management Planner.

Mr. Chandler received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Detroit. He is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA); Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society (MIHS); the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), as well as former member of the Associated General Contractors of America/Detroit Chapter’s (AGC) Safety Committee.

Scott is quite the sportsman and enjoys hunting and fishing throughout the great state of Michigan. He enjoys whipping up something for dinner for his family and makes his home in the country where the only noises he hears at night are from the wildlife in the area.
