Edward M. Galczynski,
EDWARD M. GALCZYNSKI, is the Manager of TEC’s Ann Arbor Branch Office. With 39 years’ experience in the engineering consulting industry, Mr. Galczynski is able to provide quantitative solutions to a wide range of construction related and geotechnical projects. His responsibilities include branch and project management, report writing, client consultation, staff supervision, senior technical review, branch P/L, and business/client development.
He started his career with TEC in 1979 as an Engineering Technician and Certified Welding Inspector, ascending to branch management in 1984. He has been involved in the staffing and project management of several major construction projects including the University of Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children & Women Replacement Hospital, Football Stadium Expansion, and most recently the Athletic South Competition and Performance Project. Other projects include major developments at the Toyota Engineering Complex in York Township, and Taxiway “R” Construction at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
Mr. Galczynski holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University, is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and is active in the Washtenaw Contractors Association (WCA).
Ed resides in New Hudson with his wife Trish and has two grown sons. He is an avid racquetball player and enjoys cycling and boating.
